Through-hole technology (THT) is a common form of light-emitting diode. Through-hole LEDs are easy to identify thanks to their usually dual-wire connections.
We offer wired light-emitting diodes in various colours, sizes and shapes depending on your requirements. During the mounting process, the wires are inserted through contact holes in the circuit board and soldered to the corresponding strip conductors. The wired LEDs are usually available in lens diameters of 3mm or 5mm. Depending on the application, they are manufactured using either AlInGaP or InGaN chip technology.
